The customer has built a refrigerating chamber with a temperature regime of -25°C – -22°C inside the food production building. He turned to us not only for work on the manufacture of industrial floors, but also for the installation of a sand base and insulation.

Since the floor had to be arranged on a sandy base, our chief designer developed a technical solution – a concrete floor of an average thickness of 150 mm with a reinforcing top layer and reinforcement with steel fiber.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

The corridor to this room was not very wide and the whole building was a working food production, so it was not possible to bring sand by loaders. The problem was solved with the help of wheelbarrows.

Before the installation of the sand base, the customer laid many pipes on the ground. We put sand on top of them so that there would be one level in the end. After it was rammed and then the insulation was laid.

Initially, the room had a small opening that did not even fit a single-rotor grout machine. We agreed with the customer on a solution to this situation, and he expanded the space around the aisle.

OUR RESULTS

Concrete floors with topping are the optimal and reliable solution for many types of industrial buildings and premises. In this case, the owner of a low-temperature warehouse in the Kaluga region was convinced of this.
