In November 2023, we already worked with this client and made an industrial floor for a production facility slightly less than 300 m2 in size. And now he has contacted us again, but with a larger task – to complete work on an area of ​​753 m2.

The presence of a concrete base influenced the final technical solution – a concrete floor with a topping of an average thickness of 120 mm was chosen, reinforced with plastic fiber over the entire area, and additionally reinforced with a single layer of reinforcement frame in place of the ramp.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

According to the contract, we had to dismantle a small section of the floor in front of the gate inside the building in order to make a ramp in this place later. But it so happened that we also removed some of the concrete from the outside of the opening. We had to make a ramp in the originally planned location, and restore the area on the street.

In our opinion, it turned out even better on the street than it was: firstly, we made the new ramp thicker; secondly, we framed it with a metal corner, which was not the case before.

Apart from the large entrance gate, there were no more openings in the room, not even doors. At first, the situation looked like we would be able to fill the entire room in two separate stages. But there was a solution to do this job right away.

In the area of ​​the far wall there was a ladder leading to the mezzanine. The team of grouters went there before the pouring and stayed there until the concrete had hardened sufficiently. And at the right moment they came down and started grouting.

OUR RESULTS

Good work has been done at the facility, resulting in a modern industrial floor with a ramp that meets the expected loads and other requirements.
