At the time of contacting our company, the customer had not yet set up a base at the facility. Accordingly, in addition to the main work on the implementation of the industrial floor, it was necessary to perform a rather long preliminary stage.

The technical solution was prepared by the chief designer as follows: full–fledged preparation of a sandy base; installation of a concrete floor with an average thickness of 18 cm with a hardener and reinforcement with a double layer of reinforcement, as well as the installation of an external ramp.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

During the preparation of the foundation, we had to try hard, since the sand level had to be greatly raised. Large machinery was used – ice rinks, tractors.

At the time of work with the base, there was a gap of about half a meter between the walls of the building and the base. We covered this void with styrofoam insulation, and also foamed it to remove even small cracks.

Between the street ramp, which was arranged in front of the gate, and the room, we installed a non–removable formwork - a deformation seam. This is an expensive and labor-intensive solution, but at the same time effective and reliable.

OUR RESULTS

When handing over the object, the customer pointed out a couple of flaws – there was a gap near one of the walls, and in two places the coating remained slightly rough. Both points were settled at the sealing stage: the gap was sealed, and the irregularities were smoothed out. As a result, the customer was given a floor of proper quality for use.
