We were contacted by a general contractor who worked at the Gorky Film Studio. According to the project, it was required to carry out a complex of works on the installation of a concrete floor of different structures in several rooms of the film studio itself and in the adjacent room of the museum.

A concrete floor with a reinforcing top layer using two technologies was chosen as a technical solution – 1) "dry topping on fresh concrete" for the entire area of the film studio and 2) "wet topping on fresh concrete" for the museum area.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

The main difficulty during the entire production cycle was solving documentation issues. Usually, things are simple with us at this point: the contract was signed, all the work was completed and in the end the closing documents were signed.

Here it was different: since there were many different rooms and the work was carried out in several fills, it was necessary to separately document the completion of each stage. We are not used to this approach yet, but we have coped and gained experience for the future.

Also, during the production process, there were moments that were not taken into account in the original project. Therefore, they quickly agreed on additional agreements to the main agreement and acted on them.

OUR RESULTS

Thanks to our work, the film studio is now provided with reliable floors for many years to come. We are glad that we have had a hand in improving the cultural facility, which has produced more than a thousand films and television series. May this number grow further every day!
