This is the second facility where our company makes floors for the Komus company. The main requirement for the work on the part of the client was the shortest possible time for the completion of all stages – not to postpone until spring, but to do the entire production cycle at once.

The work was carried out in extremely difficult conditions, not intended for the installation of a concrete floor with topping, in winter. The warehouse room had many cracks that contributed to a strong draft. It was not possible to simply warm it up with the help of heat guns. It was economically impractical to erect a greenhouse, it was more profitable to move the work to a more favorable period. But the client really wanted to complete the work on the arrangement of a new warehouse.
We considered many options for the implementation of the project and as a result approached the solution of the problem comprehensively: we chose the most favorable period from the point of view of the weather; the concrete was served warm – for this, dry mixes for mixing concrete were heated by a heat gun, and the water in which the mixture was mixed was heated by a stove. Heat guns with a total capacity of 180 kW were installed in the room, which blew warm air under a shelter made of polyethylene film installed at a low height from the floor.
