Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: LLC "Electrontest"
how we implemented this floor design
WE FOUND A MORE ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR FOR THE LABORATORY
The client was offered a standard technology with the use of polypropylene fiber and reinforced with a reinforcing mesh in the places of the passage of the partition.
ADVANTAGES OF FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY
Fibro-concrete floor technology, unlike reinforced with reinforcement, has several advantages. A single armature works only for the bottom or only for the top, and a double one will be a strong blow to the budget. The fiber works all over the base and in some respects even surpasses the reinforcing mesh, namely:
- Increases the strength of concrete for bending, compression and splitting up to 35%.
- Increases impact and fatigue strength over 500%.
- Prevents delamination of concrete mix up to 25%.
- Reduces the time of primary and final hardening by up to 50%.
Reduces the risk of chipping corners and edges up to 90%.
HOW WE CUT COSTS
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 25.9%, because steel fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR TESTING LABORATORY
After agreeing on all stages of work, the filling of the first part of the room began. We note that the original base of the floor was curved, in places the differences reached up to 50 mm. Despite all the difficulties, the object was commissioned as quickly as possible.
THE RESULT OF OUR WORK
Upon completion of the work, the client received a discount and a high-quality coating for the testing laboratory, which complies with building regulations and will last at least 10 years.
