WE HAVE FOUND AN ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR THE WORKSHOP
According to the project, the client planned a concrete floor reinforced with reinforcing mesh, but we offered a more economical solution without compromising quality. We suggested using polypropylene fiber instead of reinforcing mesh. This technology is ideal for this room, if we take into account the loads that the customer planned. Reinforcing mesh, in turn, would be a strong blow to the budget.
HOW WE CUT COSTS
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 30%, because fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR THE SHOP IN STUPINO
Since the work was carried out in the warm season, we managed to fill 213 m2 in just a couple of hours. The old foundation consisted of construction debris. We applied the technology of liquid beacons for screed concrete mix, it is more complicated, but it is not inferior in evenness to the technology with guiding beacons. According to the general characteristics, it was a typical object, quite light.
THE RESULT OF OUR WORK
When installing the floor on this object, there were no features, the concrete floor turned out to be of good quality with an error of 1 mm per 1 m2 – this is almost perfect evenness. The client received a flat surface that can be used for production work.
