FEATURES OF THE OBJECT

The object was planned for a warehouse of cosmetic products, respectively, the floor loads were expected to be small. Mainly from dynamic loads there had to be people and small loaders on a soft course.

Static loads were assumed to be standard: racks, pallets, etc. Among the features, we note that there were many columns and junctions that required additional attention when organizing work.

how we implemented this floor design

AN ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR IN THE WAREHOUSE

Taking into account all the planned loads and the classification of the warehouse, we proposed a technology using polypropylene fiber instead of the outdated, but already popular method of installing a floor with a reinforcing mesh.

Why? Unlike the mesh, which lies in the lower plane of the floor slab, fiber reinforces concrete for the entire thickness of the slab. Thousands of polypropylene fiber fibers are randomly distributed in concrete and intercept microcracks. Thereby significantly reducing the risk of cracks and their spreading.

Also, unlike building fiber, reinforcement mesh needs to be knitted and installed on supports, or, as we call it in our circles, "chairs" for reinforcement. In this regard, financial costs are reduced, and the work goes faster.

FLOOR ARRANGEMENT AND RESULT

The work on the facility went off with a bang. Completion dates were important to the client, and we completed production in just a few days. The results of the device of the client's floor were pleasantly surprised. We note that this is the second request of the client to our company. We managed to optimize an economical floor solution for the warehouse by reducing the time of work, thereby giving the client the opportunity to save a considerable amount without compromising quality.
