Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: LLC "Usam"
how we implemented this floor design
WE HAVE FOUND AN ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR FOR THE WAREHOUSE COMPLEX
After a survey of the premises by specialists of PROFTEHPOL LLC, a detailed survey of the client and coordination with the technical department, we decided to offer a technology using polypropylene fiber instead of the standard one using reinforcement mesh, since the customer needed to fit into the budget of 1,700,000 rubles.
We note that for a more economical solution, the client and I decided not to apply varnish to the concrete floor, but to prevent the rapid evaporation of moisture from concrete to cover it with plastic wrap, and it worked.
ADVANTAGES OF FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY
Fibro-concrete floor technology, unlike reinforced with reinforcement, has a number of advantages. A single armature works only for the bottom or only for the top, and a double one will be a good blow to the wallet. The fiber works all over the base, in some respects surpasses the reinforcing mesh, namely:
- Increases the strength of concrete for bending, compression and splitting up to 35%.
- Increases impact and fatigue strength over 500%.
- Prevents delamination of concrete mix up to 25%.
- Reduces the time of primary and final hardening by up to 50%.
- Reduces the risk of chipping corners and edges up to 90%.
HOW WE CUT COSTS
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 33.5%, because fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
INSTALLATION OF A FLOOR FOR A WAREHOUSE IN BALASHIKHA
Having agreed on all the stages of work, we started filling the first warehouse. It differed from the others by a small number of columns and abutments, which facilitated the construction of a concrete floor. Of the difficulties, we note that the work was carried out in winter at sub-zero temperatures, which, in turn, had an impact on the hardening of the concrete mixture.
According to the client's decision, we started the second and third warehouses already in the spring. We also note that the warehouses were located not far from the concrete node, which made it possible to receive the concrete mixture without delay. By agreement with the client, we additionally made an entrance ramp.
THE RESULT OF OUR WORK
Upon delivery of the object, the customer received a flat concrete floor for the warehouse, which will serve him for at least 20 years, and savings of 330,900 rubles.
The stages of the floor arrangement and the final result are shown in the photo below.
