At this facility, our primary task was to fill a flat, dust-free floor for industrial premises in the shortest possible time. The client had a factory for the production of plastic products for windows under his supervision – it was important to him that the floor, first of all, did not dust and was smooth.

how we implemented this floor design

WE HAVE FOUND A MORE ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR FOR THE WAREHOUSE

Based on the needs, it was decided to offer a concrete floor with topping reinforced with polypropylene fiber. There was an option with a polymer floor, which is ideal for a production room, however, for the speed of work, it was decided to stop on a concrete floor with a hardener.

ADVANTAGES OF FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY

The advantages of this technology lies in the speed of execution of work, unlike polymer flooring. We have our own teams on staff, and we purchase materials from suppliers with whom we have been working for more than two years. Due to this, according to our calculations, we saved the client 231,666 rubles. Moreover, fiber increases the characteristics of the concrete slab, namely:

  1. Increases the strength of concrete for bending, compression and splitting up to 35%.
  2. Increases impact and fatigue strength over 500%.
  3. Prevents delamination of concrete mix up to 25%.
  4. Reduces the time of primary and final hardening by up to 50%.
  5. Reduces the risk of chipping corners and edges up to 90%.

HOW WE CUT COSTS

The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 25.1%, because fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.

FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR THE WAREHOUSE

Promptly conducted a technical assessment. On the same day, an estimate was sent, the client immediately agreed to sign the contract, and the next day we delivered the equipment to the production shop and started work on the same day. Of the complexities of the facility, we would like to note that it was a closed enterprise, which had strict access systems, as well as limited working hours in the day shift.

THE RESULT OF OUR WORK

Despite all the difficulties, we completed the arrangement of works in the shortest possible time, as agreed. The customer had no complaints about the quality of the coating. As a result of the work, the client received a high-quality dust-free coating that will last at least 10 years, and we also helped him save a substantial amount of 214,700 rubles.
