At this facility, our task was to fill a concrete floor with a hardener, the customer needed a solid, level floor for the warehouse complex. An additional request of the customer was to hand over the finished floor with a volume of 5746 m2 in 10 days.

The initial technical solution for the project was an industrial floor with a double reinforcement mesh of fraction 12. Based on the data of our technical specialist, we decided to offer a concrete floor with a reinforcing top layer reinforced with DRAMIX steel fiber.
The steel-fiber-concrete floor technology, in contrast to reinforced with reinforcement, has a number of advantages. A single armature works only for the bottom or only for the top, a double one will be a good blow to the wallet. Fiber works all over the base, and in some respects surpasses the reinforcing mesh, namely:
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 39.2%, because steel fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
After agreeing on all the issues and stages of work, we started filling in the first map. Work on the floor was carried out at the end of autumn, the ambient temperature was below zero, which contributed to an increase in the hardening time of the concrete mixture. In this regard, sometimes it was necessary to fill in the cards continuously at night in order to meet the deadlines.
According to the results of the floor installation, the client had no complaints about the quality of work, moreover, he received an industrial concrete floor for a warehouse and savings of 3,897,600 rubles.
