Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: LLC "ALTO-S"
how we implemented this floor design
WE FOUND A MORE ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE FLOOR FOR THE WAREHOUSE
The customer's design solution was too expensive – he had double reinforcement. We proposed to use a 200 mm thick steel-fiber concrete slab with a corundum hardener and the use of steel fiber produced by BECART with a flow rate of 25 kg per m3. Our solution, on the one hand, reduced the cost of the floor, and on the other, strengthened the floor, which is rare in our field.
ADVANTAGES OF REINFORCED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY
The steel-fiber-concrete floor technology, in contrast to reinforced with reinforcement, has a number of advantages. Single fittings work only for the bottom or only for the top, and a double one will cost a lot of money. The fiber works all over the base and in some respects surpasses the reinforcing mesh, namely:
- Increases the strength of concrete for bending, compression and splitting up to 35%.
- Increases impact and fatigue strength over 500%.
- Prevents delamination of concrete mix up to 25%.
- Reduces the time of primary and final hardening by up to 50%.
- Reduces the risk of chipping corners and edges up to 90%.
HOW WE CUT COSTS
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 30.9%, because steel fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time – there is no need to reinforce with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR A WAREHOUSE IN DZERZHINSK
After agreeing on the nuances, we involved two teams and began the acceptance of concreting, and after 144 hours of continuous work in two shifts, we completed the object with a volume of 6000 m2.
THE RESULT OF OUR WORK
Upon completion of the work, the customer received a high-quality floor that will last at least 10 years, and at the same time saved the client 3,834,000 rubles!
The stages of the floor arrangement and the final result are shown in the photo below.
