Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: Rintrade LLC
how we implemented this floor design
FEATURES OF THE WORK
Before the work on the concrete slab, we still had to turn the site with untreated soil, debris and pieces of old concrete slabs into a proper sandy base. A large crawler excavator and an ice rink were involved.
A surveyor was called to determine the correct shape and exact boundaries of the future plate.
One of the factors of a significant reduction in the budget and work time is combined reinforcement. Instead of a double layer of reinforcement, we used a single layer in combination with steel fiber.
The reinforcement cage on this object was located not as usual at the bottom on the clamps, but in the upper part of the plate. We did not just make a floor, but also a foundation, and one of the functions of reinforcement was to provide resistance to wind loads that would be transmitted from the building.
During the course of the work, the customer was worried about the risk of not being able to finish the work before the onset of rains and low temperatures. We calmed him down in every possible way, demonstrating competence and performing each step as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, there were some minor comments. There was a fiber sticking out on the surface of the slab in some places. We carefully removed it, and patched up the dimples.
OUR RESULTS
Thanks to the cooperation with our company, the customer received three products in one at once: the foundation, the floor, and the finish coating.
