The customers at this facility are builders. When we collected data from them and realized which floor design would be optimal, we started reporting about fiber, they replied that they themselves were builders and knew what it was. Therefore, they simply gave us the opportunity, based on our experience, to offer a suitable technical solution, which at the same time will be as budget-friendly as possible.

We have proposed a standard technical solution – a concrete floor with a reinforced top layer reinforced with macrofibre. It was required to perform a non-floor-bearing leveling screed. The supporting concrete base was already there – concrete tiles. The requirements for the final coating were familiar – a smooth, smooth floor that does not dust.

The customers quickly – within 3 days – agreed to our offer, after which we went to them for measurements and shooting. After 4 days, the client finally gave the go-ahead, made the payment.

FEATURES OF THE WORKS

The floor of the facility adjoined several doors (including the door of the adjacent room), an elevator, and two gates. Near the gate and near the elevator, we raised the floor and made it as a smooth ramp. When adjacent to the next room, on the contrary, the thickness did not allow there. If we had filled it level, the thickness of the floor would have been unacceptably small for the standards of reinforced floor technology.

The customer understood this moment and offered not to do anything, since "it's still near the door, the same equipment does not go there." But we, adhering to the technology, still insisted on dismantling the adjacent areas. And the foundation turned out to be far from the most amenable. There were airfield plates. This is not just a concrete screed that is easily dismantled. Despite the difficulties, we successfully coped with the old base, achieved the permissible coating thickness and moved on to further stages of work.

When signing the contract, we planned that we would do with mixers without a pump. It was expected that the concrete pumps would drive inside the room. In fact, it turned out that the gate was slightly below the required height for the passage of mixers. Therefore, we offered the customer to use 2 pumps. He quickly understood the situation, promptly agreed everything and almost immediately paid.

OUR RESULTS

The customer – the general contractor – constantly assisted, it was easy to work. He had his own foreman 24/6 at the facility. This made it possible to bring and take away materials and equipment at any time, and not adjust to a specific time and date. And the customer also had a technical supervision engineer at the facility, with whom we quickly solved all the technical issues that arose in the course of work.

We consider the results of the work to be good. The floors looked good, and another indicator that the client was satisfied with the quality was the fact that he quickly signed the closing documents after inspecting the object.
