DIFFICULTIES DURING WORK
As mentioned above, the main difficulty at this facility was the time factor. We usually carry out such projects within 7 days, and the supply department takes 5 days to prepare. And here, because of too tight deadlines, we had to act lightning fast at every stage.
In addition to the lack of time, there was another point that caused difficulties – the object itself is non-standard. When filling the basement on the ground floor, we laid a very long concrete pump track (about 100 meters). The corridor also had its own peculiarities – 40 meters long, with many turns, which is why it was constantly necessary to disassemble and re-mount the track.
At one of the sites, the thickness of the floor was only about 40 mm, which contradicted the standard technology, but it was worth considering that it was not possible to do something differently in this online store. As in other rooms, there also had to be a floor with topping. The foundation slab acted as concrete – of course, it was impossible to dismantle. It was also impossible to raise the floor mark, since it was connected to all other rooms. A non–standard solution was chosen - 40 mm of concrete with a hardener was glued to the base. The adhesive was made of a special material, this adhesive was applied during concreting. Thus, this section was made together with all the other sections of the topping, where the thickness was standard.
OUR RESULTS
Despite the high price that we announced for the customer, he agreed to cooperate with us. And we did not disappoint – we completed the entire scope of work as standard and within the agreed time frame. The customer was very satisfied.
