WE HAVE SELECTED THE OPTIMAL ENGINEERING SOLUTION
Our customer in this case was a concrete unit. Usually we ourselves are a client for such enterprises, but here it turned out the opposite – they ordered work from us on the installation of an industrial floor.
In an open area – without walls and a roof – it was necessary to make a concrete floor. Its total area was about 1,600 m2, but we got only 860 m2. It turned out so for this reason: initially, the customer applied for the service to another company, which flooded half of the area, but without topping. And by this time the client found out about topping and therefore invited us already.
In addition to strengthening and prolonging the service life of the properties of topping, it was important for the customer to have it from a technical point of view. Concrete slabs will be manufactured for sale on the finished site. During their production, if concrete gets on the coating without topping, it will be necessary to lay the film every time, otherwise the trapped concrete will stick strongly to the floor. In the case of topping, the degree of adhesion will be lower.
The technical solution was chosen as follows – concrete floor with topping with an average thickness of 12 mm; combined reinforcement – reinforcement in one layer and polypropylene macrofibre.
