This time, the customer came to us with a task that was not quite standard for us. The parking lot's floor slab had a damaged protective layer. We needed to restore it and simultaneously pour the floor.
The technical solution was selected accordingly: dismantling the old base and applying an adhesive compound; then, installing a hardened concrete floor with an average thickness of 110 mm and a combined reinforcement of a frame and plastic fiber.

Usually, when preparing for pouring, we lay a polyethylene film on the base to separate it from the future floor. In this case, it was the other way around: with the help of the Mapei Admix P adhesive compound, we ensured reliable adhesion of the screed to the base.
The peculiarity of this composition is that it has a short "lifespan"—the time during which it is necessary to complete the filling. We took this into account in advance and organized the work so as to meet the required deadlines.
Our work helped the floor slab and floor to "heal". Now this structure is "healthy", strong and beautiful!
