The client asked us to install a concrete floor for his warehouse. Considering that the room already had a load-bearing concrete base with good reinforcement and a large thickness, we proposed our standard solution in this situation – reinforcement with plastic fiber.

The customer insisted on a more expensive option, and the result was this design – a concrete floor with an average thickness of 12 cm with a hardener and reinforcement with steel fiber.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

Before signing the contract, we went to the facility for a technical inspection, as usual. And only later, after his imprisonment, it turned out that the trapdoor in the base had been overlooked. In connection with this, we agreed with the customer on an additional agreement on raising the hatch to the level of the new floor.

The pouring was carried out in two stages, since there were no doorways or adjacent rooms where the grouting equipment could be placed.

The concrete pump pumped for a long time during the first filling, which delayed the work. At the second stage, we have already agreed with the other one, and he has already coped well.

For reasons beyond our control, during the first cutting of seams we used two seam cutters – one electric and one petrol. And due to the design features of the second one, we had to additionally remove dust and clean the floor.

OUR RESULTS

We recently completed the final stage of work – sealing the seams. When signing the closing documents, the client said that they were planning to fill another area. Well, we are looking forward to continuing our cooperation as soon as possible.
