The client needed to pour concrete floors with a hardener in two rooms of an industrial building. The work on the second floor had to be done according to the existing project, our standard version was agreed on the first one.

The technical solution is both there and there – a concrete floor with topping. The difference was as follows: on the second floor, it was necessary to bind the reinforcement, and first in one layer, and then reinforced reinforcement was made along the perimeter; on the first floor, steel fiber reinforcement was chosen.

how we implemented this floor design

FEATURES OF THE WORKS

Before signing the contract, we did not go to the facility – we did not even see videos and photos. Meanwhile, the doorway leading outside was only one meter wide, which made it impossible to move the equipment there with a crane. The only option is to lift all our cars from the inside of the first floor. As a result, we found a way – we used the service of a car tower with a platform suitable in size. Since these additional expenses were not included in the original budget, we agreed with the customer to pay in half.

After the reinforcement stage was completed on the second floor, it turned out that there was not a concrete floor slab, but simply a profiled sheet. There was a gap between him and the wall. If we started pouring concrete, it would flow. They informed the customer before pouring; his workers went through the foam and eliminated this moment.

The ground floor also had its own nuances. The sand at the base was not of very good quality, which made it difficult to tamper. We thought we would do without a concrete pump, since the size of the gate allowed mixers to pass inside. But they could easily get stuck in the sand, which would create an unpleasant situation.

At the time of the work, the building still had no windows. When it came time to seal the seams, it was raining. We had to wait about a week for the floors to dry.

OUR RESULTS

Since the customer was making floors for himself and for the first time with us, he was worried and called our manager on every issue. But in the end, the client got an excellent industrial coating in his building. He was satisfied and said he would recommend us.
