WE HAVE SELECTED THE OPTIMAL ENGINEERING SOLUTION
This is not the first time this client has contacted our company. Somehow, either by their own efforts or with the help of another contractor, a floor covering an area of 321 m² was poured. However, after the tenant began using the premises, the floor collapsed.
A preliminary technical assessment led to the assumption that the cause of the failure was a poorly compacted sand base. Based on this, a design was selected with an average slab thickness of 110 mm, with one layer of reinforcement in the weak area of the base, and with plastic fiber throughout the entire volume.
However, once dismantling began, it became clear that the situation was much worse. We had to significantly revise the chosen floor design, increasing its capacity. More details are provided in the section below.
