Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: LLC "IRON"
how we implemented this floor design
WE HAVE FOUND AN ECONOMICAL SOLUTION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A FLOOR FOR A PERFUME WAREHOUSE
Initially, it was planned to reinforce concrete with reinforcing mesh at the facility. However, based on the data of our technical specialist, we calculated the cost and sent our more favorable offer to the customer. We offered him a 100 mm thick floor with a corundum hardener reinforced with polypropylene fiber.
ADVANTAGES OF FIBER-REINFORCED CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY
Fibro-concrete floor technology, unlike reinforced with reinforcement, has a number of advantages. Single fittings work only for the bottom or only for the top, and double will be a good addition to the budget. The fiber works all over the base and in some respects even surpasses the reinforcing mesh, namely:
- Increases the strength of concrete for bending, compression and splitting up to 35%.
- Increases impact and fatigue strength over 500%.
- Prevents delamination of concrete mix up to 25%.
- Reduces the time of primary and final hardening by up to 50%.
- Reduces the risk of chipping corners and edges up to 90%.
HOW WE CUT COSTS
The technology we have proposed has reduced the cost by 30%, because steel fiber is cheaper than rebar. It significantly reduces the production time, because it does not need to be reinforced with a reinforcing mesh. At the same time, concrete is already supplied with fiber.
FLOOR ARRANGEMENT FOR A WAREHOUSE IN KHOROSHEVO
Our task at this facility was to completely dismantle the old foundation and pour a new concrete floor. M300 grade concrete was used, as it has optimal technical characteristics.
During the production process, we also got acquainted with the customer's representative. He outlined completely different requirements than we received from the contractor. As a result, we adjusted our offer by increasing the thickness of concrete to 120 mm, so that loaders on plastic wheels, which we did not know about before, could also ride on it and it could withstand their load. It is good that the customer informed us of this information and we took this moment into account when designing the floor for his warehouse.
THE RESULT OF OUR WORK
As a result of the work, the client received a concrete floor with high performance in accordance with SNIP 2.03.13-88.
The stages of the floor arrangement and the final result are shown in the photo below.
