The complex of works at this facility was designed for several months, as it consisted of three large separate stages – 1) dismantling of the old concrete screed, 2) installation of trays and sand traps, 3) floor installation.

The technical solution was chosen as follows – a concrete floor with a reinforcing top layer with an average thickness of 150 mm with a reinforcing frame and plastic fiber.

how we implemented this floor design

FEATURES OF THE WORK

We have divided the first stage, the dismantling work, into two parts. First, the main part with an area of about 600 m2, and then the remaining plot. To dismantle the main area, we used a remote-controlled robot, but also worked manually.

We had to try with the arrangement of the trays – they were of different lengths, widths and depths. It was also not easy with sand traps, since the original products were small. We dug two large pits, filled the foundations for the concrete containers brought by the customer, connected them to the trays and thus obtained a suitable design.

Due to the large number of trays, the floor design assumed the presence of slopes from different sides. To do this, the sandy base was prepared immediately at an angle, and then guides were installed.

OUR RESULTS

The car wash now boasts a modern, durable concrete floor that meets all production requirements, as well as a modern functional system of trays and sand traps.
