In the metalworking shop, it was necessary to make floors. The customer announced the following requirements for the final result: resistance to dust, abrasion, moisture; impact resistance, durability, evenness. In addition to the floors, it was also necessary to make a ramp on the street and eliminate gaps between the walls and the foundation.

The following technical solution was selected and implemented – a concrete floor with topping and reinforcement with plastic fiber; a street ramp device.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

As mentioned above, we had to eliminate the gaps between the sandwich walls and the foundation at the facility before the standard stages of work. To do this, they used styrofoam and foamed it.

The client planned to divide the facility into two parts, where one would be an office area and the other a production area. The base turned out to be lower in the office area, and when signing the contract, we decided that the floors there would also be lower, and a smooth slope would be made to compensate for the different levels.

However, already in the course of production, we offered the customer to make one level everywhere, providing information on the additional consumption of concrete. He gave the go-ahead, we signed an additional agreement for this volume and eventually filled it everywhere to the same height.

OUR RESULTS

For many types of industrial facilities, a concrete floor with a hardener is the best design option. This room is a great example. Such a floor will perform well both in the office area and in the production area.
