WE HAVE CHOSEN THE OPTIMAL ENGINEERING SOLUTION
The client turned to us with his technical task, i.e. he already had a design developed: the floor thickness of 170 mm and reinforcement in two layers of reinforcement with a diameter of 8 mm were prescribed.
Before pouring, the base was a layer of crushed stone with an asphalt coating. The customer said that they would dismantle the asphalt and take it out on their own, and they would provide us with a crushed stone base ready for the installation of a new floor.
Even at the negotiation stage, our employee contacted the client and offered more optimal options for filling with fiber. He replied that "we are conservative people, we have an understanding that reinforcement needs to be done with rebar, so please give us a solution according to our request."
Since customer orientation in our company is one of the key principles of work, we treated the customer's point of view with great understanding and provided an offer based on his request: coating thickness 170 mm; double reinforcement with a diameter of 8 mm. There was also a request to lay a warm floor around the perimeter and take into account the planned loads – a loader of 7 tons and bays of 3 tons, so these points were not ignored in the technical solution. We also note that it was necessary to make a coating on a small area in front of the gate.
We sent an offer, after that the customer himself dismantled and removed the old asphalt, and then invited us to shoot. At the facility, a survey was conducted on the differences, on the basis of which a schematic drawing was provided. On it, we showed in which places it is necessary to add crushed stone, and in which places it is necessary to remove it so that the thickness does not increase and remains 170 mm. With the help of this drawing, the client corrected the base, and we have already finalized the estimate. The proposed and implemented technical solution is a concrete floor with topping.
