THE TECHNOLOGY OF ENGINEERING IN INDUSTRIAL FLOORS HAS BECOME A REALITY

First of all, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that this object is really very significant for our company. We have never participated in the implementation of such a large cycle before.

At the stage of negotiations with the customer, we carefully studied the design solution and completely changed it. We designed a new structure, in which the standard solution of our company was applied – a steel-fiber concrete slab with a device of temperature seams made of non-removable formwork.

In general, the implementation of the project at this facility was carried out by several companies. It was attended by companies from Moscow and Surgut. The general control was carried out by the Moscow general contractor. The participation of our company went beyond the simple execution of works – firstly, we fully described the technology of work, and secondly, an agreement was signed with us for the implementation of author's supervision, which was personally performed by our chief designer.

What was the difference between our technical solution and the original project? We have greatly reduced the budget. The terms of work were reduced quite significantly – the customer was not so much the money factor as the time factor.

how we implemented this floor design

FEATURES OF THE WORKS

We had to start work during the period when there were still winter conditions – in March. The object stood for the winter, the existing foundation was completely frozen there. Each fill was on average designed for an area of 900-1300 m2. For each fill, we made greenhouses for the entire map by other contractors. And first they warmed the base, then they carried out preparatory work, then they carried out the concreting itself.

Concreting was carried out under greenhouses – concrete mixers could enter there and unload concrete. At the same time, at least two maps were prepared in parallel. On one map, work was carried out directly, and the other was closed with a greenhouse to warm up the base. All the work was carried out at such a pace. But, fortunately, in April it became quite hot, and the second half of the object was made in standard climatic conditions with the base already naturally warmed.

We have previously selected together with the concrete unit the best composition of concrete. Not only the components of concrete – there was selected the optimal amount of various additives for concrete.

During the production process, a calculation (created by our design department) was used, in which the steel fiber was designed. To create the necessary strength, a large amount of fiber was introduced into the concrete, since the loads on the object were serious – more than 8 tons per rack.

It was difficult for our handlers, who introduced the hardener, to process, because a lot of fiber appeared on the surface. They came up with a life hack themselves – it can be called a "magnetic fiber collector on the surface." This is a construction that, with the help of a magnet on fresh concrete, collected excess fiber on the surface. Thus, it was possible to solve the problem in order to obtain the highest quality surface during processing.

Also at this facility, we have applied the technology of laying and leveling concrete using a laser concrete paver.

OUR RESULTS

The result of the work turned out to be of very high quality. We completed the object in the time that the general contractor allowed us, because the front of work was not always transferred on time. There were minor delays. Nevertheless, on our part, the work was carried out and completed within the established deadlines that we had previously agreed with the customer.

Why is this a significant object for our company? Since we are an engineering company, here we managed not only to implement the object as a contractor for the installation of industrial floors. We also designed the floor structure, and also in the process of work, our chief designer carried out the author's supervision according to the technology we wrote. Corrections were made in case of any situations - all this was done in writing, provided in the developed documents to the customer directly at the factory.

Here we used all the accumulated experience, used ideas and provided maximum services primarily as an engineering company for industrial floors. This was done by us for the first time, and today we can say with confidence that we are able to implement such complex objects from the beginning of design to the complete completion of the entire production cycle.
