In a large warehouse with an area of 8,766 m2, it was necessary to make strong floors that would withstand heavy loads. It is noteworthy that the foundation on the object was not ready at all. Moreover, the customer did not even have an idea about the construction of the floor and about the preparation of the foundation.

The foundation on the object was different everywhere: in one place the whole concrete; in another – broken concrete; in the third – crushed stone; in the fourth – tile. The height was also different: somewhere higher, somewhere lower.

Our chief designer went to the facility itself, thoroughly investigated it and found the best technical solution, which was subsequently offered to the customer and which was then implemented.

The chosen technology is preliminary dismantling and preparation of the base, after which the device of a topping floor with steel fiber.

FEATURES OF THE WORKS

Before we prepared the foundation, the height differences reached 25 cm. We put our foreman at the facility, who controlled the progress of the work, and the equipment and materials were provided by the customer. Thus, the foundation was first fully prepared, and only then went directly to the filling of the floor.

Our company has its own concrete recipe developed jointly with fiber designers. Our chief designer went to the concrete assembly and arranged for the concrete to be made according to our recipe. Thanks to this and the use of two types of steel fiber (4d 55/60 in places with the highest load and 3d 55/60 in places with a lower load), we were able to make the floors clearly according to the client's requests and loads. By the way, the fiber was filled in immediately on the concrete node.
