WE HAVE SELECTED THE OPTIMAL ENGINEERING SOLUTION

A prefabricated warehouse was being built in the city of Vidnoye, Moscow region, and at the same time, work on the floor was urgently needed. Initially, the client stated that the expected loads would be up to 7 tons per 1 m2, and we prepared a design calculation for these figures.

But then we made calculations based on the data provided by the customer, and it turned out that not 7 tons, but 5 tons per 1 m2. The client, having studied our calculations, agreed. As a result, the design was chosen as follows: a concrete floor with an average thickness of 150 mm, reinforced with steel fiber.

FEATURES OF THE WORK

We proposed to the client and agreed with him on the installation of 3 permanent formworks – 2 transverse lines and 1 longitudinal line, which ultimately divided the entire area into 6 separate sections.

The facility was being built quickly, the customer was in a hurry – his company urgently needed to move from the rented warehouse. Several types of work were carried out simultaneously – the building was still being raised, and at the far end we were already carrying out the first fills. At the same time, another contractor was preparing the sand base in the following areas.

Even before signing the contract, we announced that we would complete all the main work in 6 pours and 12 days. And that's what happened.

An agreement was reached with the concrete plant to use better materials for the preparation of the mixture than usual in the area: cleaner crushed stone, good coarse-grained sand and cement without additives. Yes, it turned out to be a little more expensive, but it had a positive effect on the quality.

OUR RESULTS

We provided the client with the floor that he wanted – smooth and strong. It was also extremely important to complete the work as quickly as possible – and we successfully coped with this.
