Floor arrangement ACCORDING TO THE ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR THE OBJECT: Joint Stock Company "Kolomna Experimental Meat Processing Plant"
how we implemented this floor design
DIFFICULTIES DURING WORK
There are several points that are worth highlighting in this section:
Firstly, we added fine brass fiber to the concrete mix before pouring, which was provided to us by the customer himself. It bit into my hands through my gloves; my shoes got it too.
Secondly, when working with ramps, first there was a stage of manufacturing a retaining wall to give stability. Initially, one technical solution was chosen, but Dmitry, our head of work at this facility, suggested another, outlining it visually in SketchUp (3D design program). The customer approved his version.
Thirdly, the weather conditions. There was no roof over the ramps, which made it impossible for us to work in the rain, otherwise the coating would have suffered.
OUR RESULTS
On each area of this facility, we implemented everything in accordance with the engineering solution, in particular: we leveled the ramp, carefully and at the same level by exposing the profile on the sides; we made the covering of the ramps rough so that cars and other cars could drive in without problems even in rain or snow and did not slip.
The customer was satisfied with the results. He approached our head of work and personally said: "Well done, guys!" We are waiting for them further than other areas for work, because this object is an old meat processing plant, and there are still about 5,000–6,000 m2 on which floors need to be filled.
